PILOT 165: 3 TRIGGER SYSTEMS FOR MORE VERSATILITY

The Plastimo Pilot 165 vest is available in 3 trigger options :

Automatic UML : Cellulose tablet which, when disintegrated on contact with water, releases the CO2 bottle trigger system.

Hammar Automatic : Hydrostatic valve that is activated by water pressure. The principle prevents any accidental triggering, but remains more complicated to re-prime.

Manual : The wearer activates it himself in the event of a fall into the sea. Warning: minimum safety level, the system is not triggered if the sailor falls into the sea while unconscious.

For added safety, all three versions of the vest can be triggered manually.
